About the Author
Marcus Dudley isn’t your typical leadership coach, author, or guru—
and he prefers it that way.
With over 30 years of leadership experience across the military, corporate sales, nonprofit leadership, small business ownership, consulting, academia, and executive coaching, Marcus has led in just about every kind of environment. He’s built a career on turning around struggling organizations and helping good leaders become great ones.
His leadership journey began in the U.S. Air Force, where he learned the value of structure, discipline, adaptability, and accountability. In the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, he mastered the art of building relationships and driving results in high-pressure environments. Later, he served as President and GM of two successful semi-professional soccer teams that he helped build from the ground up—blending his passion for sport with the demands of leadership, operations, and growth. As a nonprofit CEO, Marcus led the transformation of a struggling organization into a thriving, mission-driven community institution.
Today, as the founder of Mammoth Leadership & Organizational Development, Marcus helps ambitious leaders and organizations gain clarity, develop leadership capacity, and leverage AI-powered tools to boost performance and achieve BIG results. His approach is honest, direct, and grounded in real-life leadership.

Marcus holds a Master’s in Management and Leadership, a Master’s in Organizational Development, and is a Certified Executive Coach. He also teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in leadership, management, organizational behavior, and change.
He lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia with his wife Dawn and their small pack of energetic Siberian Huskies. When he’s not coaching, consulting, teaching, or building AI-powered bots, you’ll find him hiking, mountain biking, listening to live music, or watching football, rugby, or MLS soccer—often with a great craft beer in hand.
